Paraglider Progression
Who is the course aimed at?
To those people who have already completed the paragliding initiation course and wish to progress in this sport. Also for those who haven’t flown for a while and want to catch up on practice, technique, materials, etc…
Objectives:
Acquire the level of flight necessary to be able to carry out autonomous high-altitude flights, perfecting the take-off, approach and landing techniques, taking advantage of the ascending conditions to extend our flight and rapid descent maneuvers with the paraglider.
Take the examinations of the Catalan Air Federation and obtain the qualification that will allow you to fly outside of school and in the company of other pilots.
How long does it have?
6 days and 12 flights.
What prerequisites exist?
- Having completed the paragliding initiation course.
- Have a federal license.
What does the course include?
- Theoretical and practical training at the advanced level.
- Accompaniment by instructors and monitors.
- At least 12 flights.
- Book of flights, where the flights made, duration, place, etc. will be recorded, being necessary for obtaining the federal title.
Does not include:
- The paraglider, the chair, the helmet and the radio.
- The school offers you the possibility to rent or buy your equipment.
- The transport
Course development:
The courses are held on weekends and during the week if there is a sufficient number of students. The students are concentrated in the school, where the material is checked and the transport is prepared for take-off. The most suitable displacement is carried out depending on the meteorological conditions of the moment, and assisted by the instructor, we proceed to take off. In progressive flights, exercises and maneuvers will be performed with the paraglider that allow us to control the flight under normal circumstances.
